Known as a colorfully-vibrant shoe from its inception thanks to the original “Aqua” and “Turquoise” colorways, the adidas zx 8000 keeps the tradition alive with this latest look in a slew of tones from earthy brown to blazing orange. The definition of a multi-colored sneaker, you’ll also find purple, green, black, blue, grey, yellow, and white within the suede, ballistic nylon, and mesh construction.

We told you in mid February about adidas‘ new Xeno technology that takes 3M to a higher echelon. Instead of simply reflecting light with a glimmer, this 3M creates a colourful iridescent effect like that of the southeast Asian sunbeam snake, hence the snake print. The adidas zx flux xeno Pack consists of the original black ZX Flux we showed you, plus a grey one that only applies the Xeno technology to the three stripe branding.

Adidas Originals releases another addition to its line of adidas ZX flux silhouettes with the “Flash Lime” colorway. Atop a tonal core black textile upper, leather detailing in the form of the Three Stripes logo adds further texture to the body. With the midsole being black as well, the vibrant lime green rugged outsole incorporates a vibrant splash of color to the sneaker. Periwinkle socklining and a clean white column on the tongue rounds off the look.

Remastered sneakers typically tend to re-create the past, aiming to get as close to nostalgia, material usage and tonal likeness as possible. adidas, well, they’re pursuing this whole “remastered” thing a little different. In lieu of making a shoe as close to its original iteration as possible, the brand is refining their silhouettes with modern updates. The adidas ZX originals 700, for starters, is now a mid-cut shoe. What follows are even more transformations that render the shoe unrecognizable to the untrained eye. Three Stripes branding is no longer noted at the paneling while a more scaled down midsole is replaced with a rigged bottom.
