Hi,
I would like to learn how to use WordPress.
I installed xampp for WordPress, then WP itself and I can access it via localhost, so far so good.
But now in the video I am watching, the guy chose a host service then paid for a year for a domain he chose.
I only want to learn and have my website solely on my personal computer, there is no point in choosing a host.
So my question as stated in the title:
Do I need to buy a host service to use WordPress and create my website that I will be accessing only from my computer ?
